Would you like to register?
Would you like us to look after
your health?
Everything you need to know is on this page.
The rest of the website is only in French.
What is a maison médicale?
It's a community health centre: a whole team working under one roof. Doctors,
physiotherapists, nurses, a psychologist, a social worker, receptionists and
administrative staff meet every week and have lunch together every day.
Everyone talks to everyone, so your health is looked after as a whole, not piece
by piece.
We are a small, self-managed non-profit (no boss!), and we've been part of the neighbourhood since 2008.
↑ ContentsWho can register?
Anyone who lives in Forest and is covered by a health insurance fund (mutuelle).
From November 2026, we're also opening registration to part of Anderlecht: see the registration area (in French).
↑ ContentsWhat changes for you?
You don't pay anything here: not for the doctors, not for the
physiotherapists, not for the nurses.
Your mutuelle pays us a fixed monthly
amount (the forfait).
So you don't need to bring any money to your appointment.
In return, we ask just one thing: for general practice, physiotherapy and nursing care, you come to us. That's all.
If you go elsewhere for this care, your mutuelle won't reimburse it.
The exceptions: the out-of-hours GP service (1733), emergencies, and care you receive while on holiday far from Brussels.
What doesn't change? Nothing changes for specialists, the hospital, the pharmacy or the dentist: you pay as usual, and your mutuelle reimburses you… as usual.

↑ ContentsHow do I register?
- Come to reception or call 02 340 33 50 to book a registration appointment.
- Bring the identity card of everyone you want to register.
- Sign the registration form. We'll take care of the rest with your mutuelle.
When does it start?
Your registration starts on the first day of the following month.
Until then, you stay in the usual system and can still see your current doctor.
Do you have a medical file with another doctor? Ask them to send it to us. Or give us their contact details and we'll arrange it at your first appointment.
↑ ContentsNo health insurance?
Come and see us anyway! Our social worker will help you get sorted.
↑ ContentsNo papers?
Without papers, you can't register for the forfait, but we can still treat you through Urgent Medical Aid (Aide Médicale Urgente), managed by the CPAS (public social welfare centre) of Forest.
Just ask at reception.
Are you an asylum seeker? No problem, we work with Fedasil.
↑ ContentsChanged your mind?
You can deregister at any time, without having to explain why.
Please note: the forfait only ends on the first day of the second month after you sign the deregistration form. Until then, your mutuelle won't reimburse general practice, physiotherapy or nursing care you receive elsewhere.
↑ ContentsWhy the Primeurs?
Everyone is welcome here. Your age, gender, sexual orientation, gender identity, origin, body, income or language make no difference to how we treat you.
And there's more:
- health activities open to everyone, several times a month (themed workshops, women's football, short and long walks, cooking, museum visits…)
- home visits if you can't get to us: our doctors, physiotherapists, nurses, social worker and psychologist can come to your home
- help with paperwork (mutuelle, CPAS, residence documents)
Convinced? Come to reception or call 02 340 33 50.
Already convinced, but want to know more about our values, our ethical and political convictions, our activities or the details of the forfait? Take your time to browse the rest of the website (in French): almost everything is there :)
